How do I know if I’m a member?

You’ll have signed up and paid the membership fee. And you’ll be receiving emails about the pool from claygatepoolmembership@gmail.com. If you’ve signed up but are not receiving emails, contact us on the above address.
 

How do I become a member?

Email us at claygatepoolmembership@gmail.com and we’ll add you to the waiting list.
 

What’s the waiting time for membership?

With the pool now up and running smoothly, we’re currently reviewing membership numbers and increasing the number of memberships. Beyond this process, we’ll review membership termly.
 

What are the membership fees?

The annual membership fees are: 

£60.00 for a family
£25.00 for an individual adult
£25.00 for a student
 

Who’s included in the family membership?

Your family membership includes two adults (over 18) and all under 18s living at your address.

How long is the pool?

20 metres.

 

How do I book a session as a member?

We use the booking platform Bookwhen.com. Here, you’ll be able to book adult lane swimming and family fun sessions. Links to this Bookwhen.com page are also in the respective sections on our website.
 

How do I book for aqua aerobics?

On the website, you’ll find a link to the aqua aerobics booking page, which is also on Bookwhen.com.
 

How do I book the pool for a private party?

Members can book the pool for private parties. Drop an n email to claygatepoolmembership@gmail.com, ideally with two or three alternative dates. 

Can I use the pool as a non-member?

Yes, as a non-member, you can book into activities such as swimming lessons and aqua aerobics. See the website for more information and booking links.
 

Is there a code to get in?

No, the lifeguard/session organiser will have a list of names of the people booked for your session.
 

Is there somewhere to store valuables when I’m in the pool?

Yes – there are lockers in the foyer.
 

Are there private showers?

No. There are six communal showers as you leave the changing room and enter poolside. Please use these before entering the pool.
 

Can a member sign me in as a guest for member-only sessions (adult lane swimming and family fun sessions)?

Unfortunately not - we’re unable to allow members to invite guests to member-only sessions at this stage.
 

Do I need to wear a swim hat in the pool?

Yes please – we ask all users of the pool to wear a swim cap. This is to maximise hygiene, facilitate filtration and keep maintenance costs down.
 

Where can I park?

Parking is available on the surrounding roads. Remember, traffic is busy around the school at drop-off and pick-up times, so we encourage you to walk or cycle to the pool. If you do drive, please be considerate to residents when parking.
 

How to I cancel my membership?

If you’d like to cancel your membership, simply drop an email to claygatepoolmembership@gmail.com.
